Finding the perfect HYROX shoe
HYROX training and competitions include running, lunging, pulling, and pushing. Finding a shoe that can do it all can be tricky. The first step is to find something that fits your foot well. The most recommended shoe in the world might be the worst for you if the fit is wrong! It will help immensley to find out, at a minimum, about how your foot rolls and whether or not you need more or less arch support. Next, something with good grip is essential. Different outsole rubbers can make or break your sled push. Lastly, balancing a good running shoe with energy return for the 8K+ running while keeping a stable base for the exercise challenges is tricky! There are some great lower to the ground shoes that still have great cushioning for a lot of running. Taking the time to try on options in that category all while making sure it's the right fit for your foot will help you find a shoe that will be perfect for you!

Shoes for any gym workout
Looking for a more versatile shoe? Some shoes are better than others when it comes to lateral movements and non-running activities. Most running shoes will keep your legs fresh mile after mile, but not be very stable for lunge after lunge. Finding a balanced shoe means finding a good fit and good lateral support.
